The photographs in this series were taken while traveling in Singapore in March 2018 at a now abandoned palace. The palace was completed in 1935 and was used as a home for the Sultan, and later used as a military headquarters and hospital in the 1940's. In September of 1942 the building sustained serious fire damage due to heavy bombing by Japanese fighter planes. The building was cared for until the caretaker's death in 2004 where it has since laid in disrepair and ruins and as of 2006 has been deemed structurally unsafe.
