Alternative?

I was a fool to think that the most intelligent ones among them, humans, would acknowledge the significance of my kind in their existence. We used to have such mesmerizing times, co-existing. But alas, in time, wealth has changed them. It aggravated their desire to a point where they strive day and night to satisfy their infinite wants killing thousands of us. Can those papers with numbers provide a substitute for the air I exhale? I do not know, but I would rather remain uneducated because otherwise, I might also turn into the gluttonous delusional creatures they have become.

I am Farida Alam. Professionally I come from a business background but Photography is my passion. Exploring people and their different cultures is the area of my interest. My inspiration for photography comes from the people and my surroundings. I love to meet people from different communities and experience other cultures. I have completed basic and foundation courses on Photography from “Pathshala South Asian Media Institute" and later on completed my Diploma from Alliance Française de Dhaka. I have participated in workshops conducted by Abir Abdullah, Saiful Huq Omi, and GMB Akash.
