The barn owl is a bird among owls that dwells in rocky gorges or cracks in buildings, especially in those abandoned in attics or in the rafters of old buildings or in cemeteries. Since ancient times, the barn owl is considered as an evil being, or a ghost, the bearer of misfortunes. This is due to its plumage that stands out in the night during his silent flight, to the habit of hunting in places like cemeteries (due to the abundance of mice) and to his prolonged shrill.
