In this ongoing series ‘Blossom Boys’ I consider the altered behavior of preteen boys and capture their natural beauty in a setting where they do not feel the need to conform to social pressures. Through my work I aim to empower young male ballet dancers, a collaboration between my son and his peers. By exploring the beauty and freedom of self that comes with dressing up and performing I hope to reinforce a positive sense of selfhood.
