The rate of melting of glaciers has almost doubled over the past twenty years. According to forecasting models, half of the mass of Alpine glaciers will have disappeared by 2050, regardless of how we behave until then. Vanishing Glaciers: The Forni Valley is a chapter of a series of documentaries about the vanishing of Italian Alpine glaciers and the changes triggered in the landscape and anthropology of communities by their melting. These photographic series investigates some eroding in the Ortles-Cevedale Group on the border line between the regions of Lombardy and Alto Adige in Italy.
