Very first demonstration of agricultural workers from the ghettos of Rignano and Borgo Mezzanone (where workers live in sheet metal shacks and in conditions of extreme hardship) organized and coordinated by the USB (trade union organization) and by the unionist, writer and activist Aboubakar Soumahoro, which took place in Foggia. This event represents a unicum, nothing like this has ever been attempted before in a very difficult area of Italy, where exploitation and blackmail are widespread, and the rights of weaker workers are non-existent.

Domenico Innantuono is a freelance photographer based il Puglia. His work brings together a whole series of interests, ranging from music to travel, from reportage to cultural and religious anthropology.
