2018 was when I learnt that I had fostered a mix of Moderate Anxiety & OCD. When my condition started improving, I spoke to mental health therapists for research & learnt that some people have it worse. Inspired, I decided to voice their helplessness through my art. The Anxiety Series visually translates emotions born out of various levels of anxiety. It aims at highlighting mental illnesses by making the emotions in every story relatable & tangible. It also encourages the audience to discuss mental health more openly, especially in a country like India, many parts of which see it as a taboo.

Arjun Kamath is an internationally published photographer and filmmaker with a deep admiration for visual storytelling. A Canon Maestro and Profoto Mentor, he is recognised by reputed photography awards such as the IPA 2020 (category) and Monochrome. Arjun hails with a master’s in Film & Television Production from the world’s finest film school, the USC School of Cinematic Arts, LA.
