Inspired by all of the counterfeit luxury goods sold on Canal Street in NYC, I got the idea to make an interactive 'photo hunt' on Instagram. Using the multiple images in one post I was able to have the first image, showing one real Ray-Ban and three counterfeit, allowing the viewer to try and spot the differences. The viewer would then swipe right and see the next image with the counterfeit sunglasses smashed. To do this project I had to buy the highest quality fakes directly from China. They were indeed impressive copies; that is until the lenses break and you're left with razor sharp shards
