A Time For Us? Yazidi Women

All the Yazidi women I met in the town of Baadre (Iraq) are mourning the unspeakable violence that they have suffered and the absences they are experiencing: in each family some persons are missing, whether because they are dead or worse, because “they are still there, under ISIS". Still in the hands of the torturers, who knows where, in Iraq, in Syria. Who knows under what extremely harsh conditions.

I work as a hair stylist near Milan, Italy. My passion are travel and photography. My last photographic project is called skin. I wanted to tell the story of albino people and acid attacked women in India.
