“These wonderful ancient trees, deserved a presentation that shared an aesthetic and spiritual affinity, and in this book they combine as a collection that embrace and articulate David Magee’s approach to landscape photography”.The twenty four photographs, all produced in black and white, are printed in tritone. The print production and hand crafted binding combining to make the book a piece of fine art in itself. Printed and bound in London, presented in a clam shell presentation box, this limited edition book is signed and editioned by the artist.

David Magee is an Irish Fine Art Photographer. He studied Fine Art, at Crawford Municipal School of Art, and subsequently Fine Art Photography at Glasgow School of Art & Design. His aim is to provide an antidote to the world we now inhabit, a world of excess, over-branding and mass production. His intention is to offer the viewer a point in time to reflect and be drawn into a world of oneness, contemplation and tranquility. To engage the viewer with the experience of being immersed in the landscape and the spirituality of nature, as well as touching on themes of transcendence and self.
