‘beyond reality’ is a series of waterscapes using the long exposure technique. I`ve always fascinated with objects, built or abandoned on the lakeshore or coastlines. Surrealistic and at the same time minimal expression and using long exposures afford me an subjective way of describing those objects to express and reveal alternative perspectives of our world.

I am a non-professional photographer with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in the U.K. Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1963, I currently work as a creative director in Tokyo, Japan. Since first picking up a camera in late 2011, I have been passionate about landscapes, black and white long exposure photography, and fine art long exposure photography. My goal is to create black and white fine art photography that reflects my personal vision while also giving all my creativity to elaborate and explore this world.
