The photographs in this series contrast with the world we live in, filled with images saturated with information and colors. They seek out visual refuges in urban landscapes, also polluted by excesses. Minimalist, with few geometric elements expressed in faded colors, "Minimal Poetics" takes architecture as a photographic object to evoke pauses and silences.

Architect and photographer, José Roberto Bassul was born in Rio de Janeiro and lives in Brasilia. Focusing on architecture and urban landscapes, his works have been awarded in several important competitions such as Int'l Photography Awards (1st place, 2018), Tokyo Int'l Foto Awards (silver and bronze awards, 2018) and Prix de la Photographie Paris PX3 (gold and bronze awards, 2017 and 2018). His photographs were exhibited individually in Brazil and collectively in many cities worldwide and are part of public and private collections.
