I created this project as a tribute to the wounded men in the gay community, myself included. It is 2017, and the gay men are still suffering, from the tragic event that made International news, such as Orlando mass shooting, to the everyday struggles that go unnoticed by most people except the sufferers themselves, such as drug addiction, STD stigma, fake straight identity, depression, self-loathe, homelessness, etc. I used to hate my life, but hearing other gay men's stories put me into perspective, that everyone is struggling. Struggle is like a wheel. It goes round and round, peeling of hope layer by layer, like trapped in a maze with no exit. I want to document this feeling, and more than that I want to support my fellow gay men who are suffering.
