It was my first time photographing from a hide and a night hide had me a bit nervous. I knew I had moments when the animal would be in the most optimal location as it came for a drink. I also knew I had to stay awake for the entire night as to not miss anything. For hours I sat patiently in a chair, my camera mounted in front of me on a tripod, getting more and more tired, keeping my eyes open as best I could. Just as I was thinking there would be no action, a leopard came silently into the light. Later, more wildlife came, I was kept busy until dawn. What an incredible experience.
