    David Bishop

David Bishop’s dimensional photography is strongly influenced by both 17th century baroque and contemporary art. His studies have resulted in a unique contemporary lighting style, in part, created through the use of his own fabricated lights that optically enhance the viewer’s sense of three-dimensional depth perception. Skillful application of focused, transmitted and reflected light are just a few instruments used to create beautifully hypnotic imagery specifically designed to capture the imagination. The complex light play of color, texture, and depth, draws the viewer in to explore further and further enhanced by the introduction of his hand painted backgrounds designed to visually blend the live subject with his hand painted backgrounds.
