It is a series of still lifes in which I raise a play of perception by balancing opposites concepts as enduring and the ephemeral, the cultural and the natural, seduction and repulsion, humor and disturbing, the naive and the corrupt, the everyday and the strange, in order to obtain powerful images through food subjected to natural and man-made changes. Altering the lifetime and uses, create relations between matter and food, linking the new food to other known, use a balance between opposing ideas, present the food expired as edible food, all these combinations are intended to stimulate perception (senses) of the observer and alter the cognitive process, through clean images built with simplicity, seemingly simple but actually full of conceptual complexity lead to reflection
