Merapi Volcano is located on the border between Central Java and Special Region of Jogyakarta. It's the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548. The current lava avalanches phenomenon has happened for about 4 years and can be seen at night. It looks scary but also incredible nature phenomenon at the same time. After visiting Jogyakarta 9 times in 3 years, finally on August 18, 2024, I was able taking shot incredible Merapi lava avalanches under alert status. I spent the night on this view point and capturing Merapi volcano spewing out its lava widespread amazingly

I am a photography enthusiast with genre of landscape (color & black and white), fine art black and white and human interest. Although I started to make a photo since analog camera and mostly for family documentation, I started to focus on landscape photography since 2016 and human interest photography since Sep 2021. I am so passionate with photography because photography is an art that I can enjoy for myself and also for other people who love with photography.
