A series of images taken in the Upper Mustang region of northern Nepal. This beautiful area of the country was only opened to outsiders in 1992. Formally known as the Kingdom of Lo, the area offers a stunning view of the western side of the Anna Purna range. Getting into the area requires a number of permits to be obtained and then on the way in a variety of police checks to ensure that you have the right to be there. Those that make the journey are richly rewarded.
