Those nights that we couldn’t sleep, loneliness filled the time. Can’t we just live in a sweet dream and never wake up? In this suffocating reality, what keeps us alive? When we are afraid of losing, afraid of being eliminated, we must close our eyes and feel. Life has no formula, only moments. The morning sun still warm. The shining ocean. Dazzling wildflowers. The grass springing from the ground. These things are ordinary but strong, and perhaps they are why we are still here.

Spain based, 25 years old photography graduate, Monica Liu. She had found her pursue of abstract but meaningful images through her special life experiences. Her eyes sees the moment, her shutter leverage the creativity. Presenting her work with the raw Polaroid films indeed brings a new possibility in photography.
