The people of the Kurdistan region in Iran, have been celebrating the arrival of the new year on the first day of spring for more than 2,700 years. On this day, they gather together, light a fire, and dance and stomp. Suddenly, among the crowd of people, I saw Diana, a Kurdish girl, who was shining with her beauty in the crowd. She and her uncle had participated in this big celebration in the village of Bisaran, a suburb of the city of Sanandaj in Kurdistan province. I am very happy that I was able to capture this moment when she completed the dance circle of men among them with her presence.
