Architecture has always been my first love. I find inspiration in geometric shapes, design, patterns, voids, the play of light and shadow on structures. I'm more drawn to the aesthetics of a building rather than its functionality. I see architecture as an art form. In the editing process, I like to remove details that are not part of the image that I have visualized. It's only recently that I have also started to capture people in my architectural photos. Their inclusion helps the viewer get a sense of the scale of the space but also perceive the interaction of people with architecture.

"Embarking on my photographic journey, I began by capturing anything that sparked my curiosity. However, amidst the diverse subjects, I found my lens gravitating towards the intricate world of architecture. Perhaps it was a reflection of an unfulfilled dream to become an architect myself." Anna Wacker is an award-winning and published photographer that specializes in fine art architecture and B&W photography.
