The Blast

Photo-montages made with small objects of interest that I have collected over the last decade from a beach known locally as The Blast. Until recently this space was badly polluted through coal mining and heavy industry. I always wonder how the items might inform future generations about the place and the culture. With future archaeology in mind I gather artefacts, to see what they might reveal once I take them home and make simple images with them.
