This photo was taken in Hokkaido, located in the north of Japan. It is said that the blue color comes from the clear water of the river mixed with groundwater that contains a lot of aluminum flowing from waterfalls. These components floating in the water have the effect of scattering the sunlight, which reaches our eyes as short-wavelength light, making it appear a vivid blue. On this day, a rare mist hung over the area. I found a new breath of life in the miraculous blue pond.

This is Studio O'nos, established in August 2020. We are a small photo studio in Fukuoka prefecture.
