The Great Silence of The North

It was there, in front of me, few kilometres from Nordkapp, the extreme North, there was just silence, and I could just say thanks for what I was living.

My name is Matteo and I was born March 26, 1989, I come from Acuto, a village near Rome. After high school I worked in London as waiter and as ice cream maker and with the savings I bought my first camera to tell stories. I completed my nursing studies at the University of Pisa. Thanks to this profession I was lucky to work as a volunteer in Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone and India, starting a perfect marriage between photography and medicine.
