Every winter, the meadows around Bremen get flooded from excess rain and high river levels and turn into an Eldorado for all species of birds. Dreams sunrises like this with the reflections of the sky in the water create a very unique and calm atmosphere that makes you even forget the cold.

My name is Vivien, I am self-taught landscape and travel photographer from Bremen, Germany. I have been fascinated by the vastness, complexity and perfect interaction of this Creation all my life. Landscape photography makes me humble and keeps me sane because it reminds me how small I am in comparison to this giant and amazing planet and gives me a different perspective of my daily struggles. I want to show people how beautiful and incredible our planet is and that this beauty is right at our doorstep - we just have to open our eyes, hearts and minds to experience it.
