For this new series I photographed the worlds of the Craftsmen. Hardworking people with incredible passion and dedication to their work. People with knowledge and expertise which has developed and formed over many generations. Could it be possible? An alternative in which these crafts provide a smaller scale world, with a sense of less hurry and better quality products with more symbolic values than those coming from the factories. These crafts let us look at and deal with the hyper economy in a different way. It is therefore important that these jobs can continue to exist.

In the work of photographer Ezra Böhm, culture and history are the main themes. Through his photography he is looking for meaning of the 'human identity'. Questions such as: who are we, where do we come from and what has made us who we are, he tries to show the viewer. "For me, the strength, pride or authenticity of a human individual shows the essence of identity. With these aspects I create a romanticized image. The photographs I make reflect how I see the world, it shows my imagination, elevated above the imperfections of the worldly."
