Bronze Reflections

The "Bronze reflections" series shows the beginning of my research of color and textures. Photographs represent a closer look at bronze sculptures made by Ukrainian sculptor Nazar Bilyk in 2022. I was attracted by the rich gamma of colors and reflections on bronze. This colorful effect was achieved by burning polished metal with a fire thrower by the sculptor. Photographs were made with the macro lens.

Kate was born in 1989 in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2012 she graduated from Université d'Auvergne Clermont-Ferrand I, France, with a master's degree in Management. She used to work in the international sales management field after graduation. In 2021 she obtained a Ph.D. in international economic relations and worked in the position of senior lecturer at Kyiv National University of Trade and Economy. Photography has been her hobby since 2010 when she bought her first camera. In 2021-2022 she studied at Kyiv School of Photography. Since then, photography has become her main occupation.
