I wanted to elevate the mundane, in this case, an egg. By setting the stage through the use of Chinese spoons, I wanted to elevate it and transport it to an undefined space. A place with no sense of origin. I wanted to bring a sense of mystery and art to the object. Through the use of light and shadows, to bring about an uncomplicated, yet dramatic composition. I composed this photograph with a minimalist approach. By keeping it simple, I was able to bring out more of its beauty. I wanted it to be straightforward yet refined to truly bring out its essence.

Eric Beltran has been a photographer and has been pursuing his passion for photography for over a decade.Making use of minimal landscapes inspired by geometric elements, forms, lights and shapes he craft photographs that elevates the simple. He is able breakdown and reconstruct his subject and produce something completely different. Exploring such as isolation, minimalism, and solitude his work heightens and portrays these beyond ordinary. His continued pursuit of his art has seen his work featured by numerous international publications.
