Issues with surveillance are normally directed at corporations & governments. Along side this dynamic is the fact that aspects of the technology can be used by the layperson, an individual free from constraints such as GDPR regulations or any related company policies. This body of work utilises free software that allows access to webcams, all viewed without the need for passwords or technical expertise, such as hacking. The collection of abstract images simultaneously reveals the technology, highlights the ease of digital image acquisition & the malleability of something intangible.
