I have attempted to enhance the intense emotion of Ernst Henri Dubois' sculpture "The Prodigal Son" through close cropping, and to humanise the static sculpture by processing the image in black and white. (So lifelike is the carving, with the original colour of the stone removed, I feel that it is easier to relate to and empathise with the characters depicted). (Sculpture is housed in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen, Denmark).
