The Toymaker was an idea I had during a shoot with a ballet dancer, I decided I wanted to incorporate the dancer images into a story, telling of an old toymaker who moved away from traditional children's toys, instead dedicating his life to making lifelike dolls of his lost wife, who was a dancer in her youth.
