I took these photos in Patagonia using a converted infrared camera as I wanted the foliage to be lighter and the skies to be darker creating a unique and more dramatic look. The time in Torres del Paine was the windiest day I have ever experienced and at several points I had to cling to rocks in order not to be blown away. You can see the wind whipping up the lake in Patagonia II. In El Chalten it was less windy but very wet. For days before I took Patagonia IV, it rained every day and the mountains were completely shrouded in cloud but finally the Andes were revealed in all their glory.
