The project originates from my fascination for buildings and their secret life. I think there is a sense of mystery in every building, no matter its formal beauty. Buildings, just as humans, live their secret lives. Photographing buildings, and manipulating their images, represents for me a way to discover their hidden lives, opening the chance to connect with different realms. Symmetry, a geometrical property of objects and organisms is inherently linked to our perception of beauty; I force symmetry to trigger a perceptive short-circuit that allows to see in a different way our cities.
