This image tells a story of how natural landscape became profoundly altered due to the industrial pollution near Rio Tinto mines in Spain. Although mining activities have stopped in the area, consequences to the environment are unprecedented. Toxic-waste spilling into the river was, ironically, making beautiful color patterns.
