Beauty is also elegance of shapes and harmony of colors. Erica's pose is graceful and the red circle focuses attention on the laying of hands near the gathered hair.

Monica Gorini lives and works between Milan and Lake Orta. After studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, she divided her time between teaching and artistic research. The work of years with blind people has opened the way for an art linked to sensoriality. Her sculptures are to be perceived with all senses but tactile research and attention to the matter are the constants that are also found in the paintings. The photographs and her installations concern social and environmental issues related to respect for human rights and the development of an ecological conscience.
