Some things never change, like the interior of this house. It is located in a small village called Galbina, in Romania. The house belongs to my family but no one has lived there for 31 years. Now it is kept as a precious memory, but is sometimes used for tool storage when the family over there is harvesting grass for their animals. The pillow, blanket, and tapestries on the walls were handmade by my grandmother. I was visiting my homeland this summer and shot a few rolls of film. The image was shot on 35mm BW Kodak Technical Pan Film. I was using a 16mm lens that was not intended for use with full frame cameras and the lens hood is what created the oddly shaped black frame.
