Your Majesty the Queen is a series of portraits from more or less twenty five queens throughout history. Beyond the decisions they had to make I see these women as warriors, facing really difficult situations sometimes at a very young age. I seek their light more than anything else. This is very important to me because I came back to photography after two years of grief. My mother died of cancer and I was very close to her specially during that time up to the point of becoming her mother. Darkness and deep pain wouldn´t let me see the light and joy of life for a long period. Somehow I am portraying myself through these warrior women.
