America Obscura

While traveling across the USA I wanted to portray the landscape and places as it has never been done before. So at each Hotel/Motel I would set up a Camera Obscura, using my room as the actual camera body. This helped in capturing the motel in its raw form and the view directly outside, 180 degrees. What follows is a collection of camera Obscura's highlighting a trip across America and shot in a way that would have been done during the days of the wild west. This is an on going project that I hope will cumulate into a book.
