Andean Colors

In the beginning of 2016 I have started a long-term project of documenting the entire Andes mountain range. My first excursion into the mountains was from January to March in northern Argentina, the Atacama Desert in Chile and southern Bolivia. As a landscape photographer, what struck me the most about this region is the incredible amount of color that is found in the landscape. Because of this, I decided to create a portfolio focusing on this aspect, as if I was a 19th century painter discovering these scenes for the first time.
