Half-Timbered

  • Photographer
    Sadaf Rassoul Cameron

This series is inspired by half-timbered architecture, in which core structural framing and fill is plainly exposed. Half-Timbered is a metaphor for the interplay between interpersonal story and collective narrative. Through a number of whimsical, romantic, and mundane reveals, Half-Timbered makes surreptitious remarks on the fine threads between public and private, secrecy and exposure, interior and exterior, intimacy and isolation.
