“Limbo” is a capture of the life and emotional state of Ukrainian refugees living in a former public school in the Polish city of Wroclaw after the start of the war in 2022. Initially this shelter was intended to accommodate Ukranian refugees for no more than 1 week, after which they would try to find an alternative accommodation either in Wroclaw, or in another city in Poland and beyond. The continuation of the war has resulted in an overwhelming demand for accommodation, and since the end of the summer 2022 the 'temporary' residents have been forced to live in the shelter permanently.
