I did this essay to fill the lonely quarantine days. I created this series of self-portraits to talk about self-love and the various feelings that awakened inside me and surfaced with days of isolation. I made this specific illumination to symbolize the feelings that are reverberating in me.

Marcela Bruna Rodrigues, stage name Mabru Rodrigues has a degree in performing arts and photography. She started out as a self-taught photographer, then studied photography and worked as an assistant in the studio for two years in the city of Rio de Janeiro / Brazil. In 2018, she participated in the photo contest "Huawei • A New Renaissance", promoted by Vogue Italy, being one of the finalists in the contest. Her work is focused on bringing forward the importance of diversity, especially through her ongoing project United Bodies. Mabru is an editorial, fine art and conceptual photographer.
