Crowned looks at skylines and signature architecture. A vivid use of colour and form portray them as grand objects - global beacons of beauty, ambition and extravagance.  These elaborate facades and tech enabled structures are the jewellery of global culture. As an expression of corporate and political power, they are keenly worn by cities to present themselves as players on the world stage.

Both thrilling and frightening, massive growth of cities is one of the global features of our time. Working as an architectural photographer since 2000 I’ve been lucky to have travelled extensively. In this time have seen the development of many cities and have become engrossed by urbanism - its structures, narratives and transformations. Fine Art, National College of Art & Design, Dublin, 1997.
