This Leopard sat on a tree in Chobe National Park in Botswana, quite a young one (perhaps 2 years). The Leopard was surrounded by Baboons and fled on a tree. The Leopard earlier tried to hunt one of the Impala antelope`s nearby. But Impala`s and Baboons are forming a symbiosis in the African Bush. Impala`s have an excellent sense for smelling and Baboons have an excellent eye sight. Impala`s and Baboons are protecting each other in the bush. i am not a professional photographer, but photography and journalism is my profession. photo-journalism and traveling is my most favorite field, especially if some african country is involved. the first moment I set foot on African soil a was in love with that continent, the people and the animals. besides that I have an affinity for meditation, clear lines and the beauty of perpective. both personal professions can be found in my photographs, sometimes both combined.
