My work is an exploration of the emotions and defensive mechanisms triggered by various religious symbols. I am particularly interested in how people perceive and react to the use of religious items in art and specifically connected with the human body. I use religious objects as styling for nude photographs, altering their original purpose in the way of questioning the attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have formed religious dogma and our behaviour within it.
